Why does anyone need an over-engineered guide rod and recoil spring for $65.00?

Just put a higher power recoil spring in your gun for $7.89 and go shoot.  I put a 14 lb. spring from Wolf in my CZ-75 and a 16 lb. in my CZ-97 and they are both fantastic shooters with reasonable recoil that my 10 year old can shoot accurately.

'Nuff said.

They would be illegal for IDPA/IPSC and USPSA if that matters.

What about a progressive spring rate composed of several diced CZ springs of my own design?  Would those be legal in IDPA/IPSC and USPSA?  I don't imagine myself getting into such competitions, but its not impossible.

I've seen these and plan on purchasing one as soon as I can justify spending $106 US on a recoil reducing device for a gun with less recoil than any other I've ever fired! Seriously, I will eventually own one and I'll report back.

Nice one.  I wonder if my phantom will shoot like an airsoft gun or a pellet gun if I put this dpm system in?  In terms of muzzle flip and recoil that is. :D How does this dpm system compare to sprinco recoil reducer?  I've read some good comments about sprinco.  Anyway, I just read some good reviews about dpm also.  Here's a link to one with a before and after video comparison using a smith  & wesson m&p .40.  http://www.gunblast.com/DPM-SWMP.htm
