Kadet kit on SP-01

Will the kadet kit work with the SP-01 and if so anyone have any experience with it?

Will the kadet kit shoot any 22 LR ammo, or is it like the sig mosquito's and only shoot the good stuff like CCI mag .22 LR ammo?

yes it will work on an SP01..
have run cheap winchester, remingtion, CCI std, greentag and minimag through mine.
all work well

The Kadet kit fits my SP-01. I've only had it a few weeks and only shot CCI MiniMags so far.

+1 - I was able to file it to fit my Tactical with surprising (to me) ease. A smal flat file or Dremel is needed however and you do have to take that leap of faith and start filing - lol - but if you take your time and check often you should be just fine. Remember it is ALWAYS easier to file a little more off after trying it for fit than adding material back on.

Mine shoots the Federal or Remington copper clad bulk pack ammo just fine. I avoid the bare lead Thunderbolt stuff just because I find it pretty filthy stuff to shoot. I have over a thousand rounds thru my Kadet so far with almost zero issues beyond the usual and occasional no fire of a round common to bulk box ammo.

I got fortunate enough to run accross a barely used one for $300 shipped. Performed very minor grinding with my Dremmel tool for about 5 minutes to mate it to my SP01. Now it functions flawlessly with federal Copper plated, Winchester HP, CCI, Aguila. Even better functioning than my Buckmark or Mosquito. Get one, you won't regret it. Just be careful with the filing/grinding and do it in small increments to keep a tight fit.
