Great information and the pictorial is super. Your Phantom is oustanding with the ported barrel. Was there much involved to get it installed and working. Thanks for all your work.

The barrel was plug and play.  Just field strip it and replace the barrel.

What really counts is that they work when you put them back together. :D

Well, After about 300 rounds, some problems show up

I had a few failure to feeds. The shell and the next cartridge got jammed up in the slide.  The feed ramp is too short.

And the lack of material over the top of the chamber is causing problems.  I put together a bunch of pics like these two and sent them to EFK.

I'll keep everyone updated.

I'm sorry to hear about your problems and can only hope EFK fixes the barrel so it works as it should. Good Luck

It'll be fine.  I'm sending it back to them tomorrow.  They'll fix it or make a new one.  I'm sending them my critique of the problems as well.  Hopefully this will help out future customers too.

That's how it goes with custom parts.  Everyone is basically a beta tester :-)

It will also be interesting to see what their comments are wrt metal wear on the lock-up lugs. That's a safety issue should the barrel disengage prematurely.

Great pics btw. They certainly make your case, and should convince EFK to make the fix. The differences are slight - wonder if that is to get around a CZ patent.

Nice pics but I would rather stick to OEM or original parts when it has to do with a major part of the gun, like the barrel.
