Schild .... did the fiber-optic sights enhance your vision of the target ?

Glad to see you finally received your Shadow after the three day waiting period. Great looking pistol and nice grips. Please give us a range report after you run a couple hundred rounds through it. Best of luck and good shooting.

This is my first experience with fiber-optics, I was shooting at a fairly dark indoor range and the front sight was an improvement, and I'm 57 years old, I've had Lasik, wear glasses to shoot , and am left handed- right eye dominant.
As far as a range report I shot 300 rounds, all my reloads, Rem. 115 grain fmj, Rem. 124 grain jhp, and Rem. G.S. 124 grain. All rounds were about 1050 fps. The only gun that I shot this good first time out was a HK P7M8, I actually think I shot the Shadow better. I left the range with a big grin!

Schild,
Glad you're enjoying your new Shadow. I see you did go with the aluminum grips, nice choice, they look great. How is the fit? I know you were debating which ones to get (and no I wasn't trying to be a smart ass on your other post, if you were in the Chicago suburbs I would have gladly let you try my Shadow with the cocobolos and with the stock rubber grips to give you a basis to go by, couldn't have helped with the aluminum of course but it would have given you a much better idea on if the aluminum would likely be a good fit). Anyway, beautiful pistol you have there. Oh, I can tell you with authority that the Shadow gets smoother and more accurate after a couple thousand rounds.
