cz 85 combat as concealed carry
« on: June 05, 2009, 10:34:02 AM »
I am a newbie to both the cite and cz's.  I used to carry and HK USP .45 compact until I handled and then purchased the 85 combat.  I am pretty stout, 5'10'' and 221 lbs, and find carrying the 85 combat in my Crossbreed super tuck not a real hardship.  BTW I now barely notice that I carry it except when having to go to the rest room  :)  Just curious if anyone else carries such a large gun or am I just a little off (no, I can't get around that).  I wish you guys were on the cite more often

cane I .....  welcome to the CZ Forum, and realize to get around your problem ....... you will just have to do as a lot of us did ...... and purchase another CZ !  One for each purpose.  The 85 is a great pistol.   ;)

cz davis- it is my intention to not only buy additional cz's for myself (i am thinking both a sp-01 and a 75b) but also one or more for my wife (the daughter of a navy seal that can shoot lights out around most of us).  she is leaning towards the p-01 or a pcr.   I need to get her away from thinking too litlle like Kahr or heaven forbid Taurus.  Thanks for the welcome.

Hey .... the best kind of wife to have !   I have the 75D P-01 compact and a 75B Stainless 9mm.... and both are the "perfect  pistol".  The P-01 is a great size, as I use mine for CCW.   It's hard to keep from adding any additional CZ's .......  (they multiply).

I carried a full size pistol concealed for years, can be done, dress around it, and good leather, holster AND belt, are a must.
