Rut Roh...

Went to put the safety lever in.  The little gray piece on the left side switch popped off.  So I replaced it, hoping that would fix the issue, but alas it doesn't.  The safety still 'works' but I can cam it all the way down so that the front of the button is facing the bottom of the grip, and there is no positive click betweensafe and off safe.  In fact there is no click at all.

When on safe it still prevents the trigger from working, the problem is that if the safety is moved too far down that also prevents the trigger from working and there is no click to inform me when i have unsafed the weapon and when I have gone too far.  Unless I am looking at the safe I cant tell if the gun is safe or not.  Clearly that is an unacceptable condition for the gun to be in.

So I suppose the safety lever is off to CZ, once I get back from seattle in a week.  :/

Any thoughts?

Take it out of service immediately.  :(  Call 1-800-955-4486 tomorrow morning, before 2PM Pacific time, ask for Mike Eagleshield - they will take care of it for you.
I hope you have a backup for carry?

Why not put the optional de-cocking lever back on in place of the safety? I understand it may be the way you want to carry the gun but if it's your only carry gun (if that is it's intended use) at least you can have it back in service safely while the safety switch is being replaced.
My comment is more for information from you as well; Do some of the P07s not come with the optional lever? Mine has both but the instructions that came with the weapon indicate that the option may not be available to all P07s on the market.

I put the decocker back on and worked the gun a few times to insure everything operated as it should. I'll give them a call as soon as I can. At the moment the gun is in north carolina and I am in seattle so it will have to wait a few days

Thanks for the replies guys
