Will standard cz 75 mags work in a Phantom????
« on: June 15, 2009, 02:09:20 PM »
This may have been asked before and I'm sorry for reposting if so....Just wanted to know if the CZ 75 mags will work in the 75 sp 01 phantom.  I have a buddy that has a couple extras that he will let me get pretty cheap, but wanted to know if they will work before I pay for them.

yes.  they fit.  I have both.  The Mecgars may not fit as well and probably won't drop free.

Thank you sir......And while I'm at it, is there a plastic (Kydex) holster to fit this gun.  I know there is one for the alloy frame SP-01  but not the Phantom.  The trigger guard is more square on the Phantom, so don't think it will fit.

I'm making my own holster.  I'm not really happy with anything on the market.

LOL!  I'm no holster pro. I'm using automotive vinyl to make a functional version of the pager pal. Rather than sit on the top of the leg it will rest on the inside.  comfortable, pretty much invisible, and still accessible.  I'll be able to hide the full size pistol on my 5'6" person.  Is the use of the phrase "on your person" not weird to anybody? It drives me nuts.

Guess it's better than "on your manhood"......Can I say that here?

Lol! or pointed at my junk  ;D! The Smartcarry is pretty decent.  It might be right for a CZ-83.  But not a full size. I couldn't sit normally if it were pointed straight down like that. What I'm making is more like a Smartcarry that clings to the leg.  The grip would be just under the belt. Reaching for the pistol wouldn't look any different than me reaching for my junk.   :D
