I couldn't believe it either.
So at the range I walked 7 rounds toward the 6" 100 yard gong.
Only by concentrating on a perfect straight-back pull, with a perfect grip, would the rounds stay near the gong. Any weakness in grip or pull, and the rounds would be off by 2', 3'. The seventh went 'bing'.
No miracle there if you walk them in to learn what the exact sight picture is. That a 124gr PF:130 cast bullet would do that was the biggest surprise.
The interesting part of the exercise was that it revealed that my grip and my pull are in need of improvement. I'll work on those, and will be rewarded by more As and fewer Charlies and Deltas at 7 yards and beyond.
