I got down to the range this morning and shot 50 rounds of slow fire. Boy oh boy do I like that comp rear sight. It's just a perfect sight picture and that's all there is to it. The slightly deeper and wider notch is just what I like.
As I suspected, the 5.5mm stock front sight worked right for my 200 gr. 850 fps loads. I use a 6 o'clock hold on the 25yd. bullseye and this combination was centering my group in the lower third of the black. After a little more shooting I may actually lower the sight to 5.0mm which should center the impact at the X ring. I'd like to use a fiber optic front but I don't think Angus has one that short.

I put 50 rounds through my 75B with the Kadet kit as well; this is a great shooting .22 with a great feel, not too light, not too heavy. I'm actually surprised at how nice it is.
schmeky, thanks for the kind words. I'm glad you like it. BTW, you were absolutely right about the comp sight.
