Sorry for another post about this but I'm going to try and consolidate everything I found along with this. There are a lot of different posts out there about this but nothing (I could find  ???) has it all in one spot.

Ok, I purchased a Shadow for IDPA. Love the gun BTW. Want to make weight. I am currently at 39.90 oz. I have ordered the Marshall grips and am going to switch to 10 rounders. Still need to shave a little off I think. Lets start with the numbers first:

39.90 oz.....3-slot Shadow w/ comp hammer, 18 round mag, plastic grips, and grip tape front and back strap
2.45 oz.......Factory rubber grips
0.71 oz.......Tactical Sports original wood grips only, no screws and washers (for comparison)
0.76 oz.......Plastic grips (not rubber) with screws and washers
0.04 oz.......Comparable size of grip tape already attached to my gun (roughly)
3.00 oz.......18 round mag
2.60 oz.......10 rounds mag as listed in other posts
0.36 oz.......Factory slide stop
0.29 oz.......RHS factory Shadow safety
0.41 oz.......LHS factory Shadow safety

Anybody have the weight for any of the AL grips?

Ok so after I get my Marshal grips and change to 10 rounders I should be at 39.14 oz. Thats quite close, but I want to make sure I am legal. The grip tape stays, I can't believe I used to shoot without it.

Let talk mags, I'm assuming that's a 10 round CZ mag. I was wondering what the promags weigh. Can anybody help with this info? (10 round promag weight) I heard mixed reviews, but they are half the price. I don't mind spending the money if I have to but over $100 for 3 new mags is a lot.

Also wondering what kind of weight savings you get from the smaller slide stop. Anybody help with this? Also I see there is a smaller version of the safety.
LHS Safety
RHS Safety
I think I would actually prefer the smaller ambi-safety and it looks like there could be a somewhat significant weight difference. Anybody have a weight on these and know how hard is it to fit to a Shadow?

Any other thoughts or ways to do it, maybe CZ75 parts, with weights would be just awesome. Hope to get this all cleared up as I have spent many hours searching for this info. Thanks guys!!

No one has an any input on this. Still looking for the following:

CZ 16 round mag weight
Promag 10 round mag weight
smaller slide stop weight
smaller safety weights
AL grip weight

Appreciate any help on this as I'm trying to consolidate all of this info into 1 post for anybody else who wants this info. Tell me if I'm just beating a dead horse but it seems useful to me.

Great idea to compile information on weight. Next time I do a detail strip of my SP01 I'll weight the safety levers. The slide stop on the 97B is smaller, but I'm not sure if it will work on the CZ75 models ... I would guess it would require slight modificiation as the SP01 slide stop will work on the 97B with a slight mod.

Ok, its been a while. Still no one has given me any input so maybe this will spark your interests. Here is a pic of my new Marschal Grips from Hungary for the SP-01. These weigh exactly 0.40 oz. I chose the alder with the red finish. My SP-01 now weighs 39.54 oz

I'm pretty sure the aluminum grips are 2 oz. I can get my shadow to 39oz by using the Marschal grips and the 10 round mags. I think the 10 rounders are about .4 oz less than the 18 round mags.

I have a SP01 Custom that I use for IDPA it's a little bit lighter than the Shadow so I can use the plastic grips and 18 round mags which I like better.

Forget the Aluminum grips they are to heavy.  Replace the metal plate that protects the mainspring with an aluminum version intended for the 75B and thin it down and you will make weight with the Marshall grips and 10 rd mags.  Mine did and now weighs exactly 39 oz.
