I think they are working on a semi-auto .380 version, also a .22lr version would be great.  I think once they get it in .380 it won't be too difficult to make the 9x18 next.  One of these in 9xanything would be a formidable home defense pistol!

Imagine 7.62x25 tok...not on the list, I don't think, but would be interesting, AND in charachter!

A conversion from .32 to .380 might be possible, but not to 9mm or 7.62x25, IMHO. I do know that the factory 9mm is actually larger in size. I can confirm that the rate reducer is not installed in many semi autos. This is not just for FA, but to slow the bolt going back and forth. In a sense it is for delay and acts like a buffer. So how could it be made in 9mm? I am guessing it would work like the slowfire MAC-11s. I have seen CAR stocks at the rear and the CAR buffer adds mass to the bolt via a hole at the back of the receiver.

Now I am not suggesting something as tacky as a CAR stock! But think about the FAL stock and the spring it has in it. There is a version of the Skorpion with a wooden stock. Maybe a steel buffer and heavy spring could be placed inside to allow for delay? As for magazines, I don't think a 9mm Parabellum will fit in given the bullet shape.

You are still talking about making it in the 61 chassis? You could add mass and possibly have it bash the rear?  Good question.  Like I said, I big spring in the wooden stock could delay it.

This US made clone of sorts in 9mm seems to have lengthed out the front end.

It should be interesting if you can do it.  The mass needed for 9mm is pretty well known. Spring power is also part of that. Given the Skorpion's tiny springs, then the bolt would have to be weighty.  I'd say that the weight of the MAC11/9 bolt would be minimum. I can't see how any of this could be done without a new larger upper. It might just be easier to design an upper that uses a MAC11/9 bolt and springs. By the same token, a MAC12/380 bolt for that caliber.

Here is the latest 9 mm skorpion. The new name is 'Skorpion A'. It will take while to get it on US market.
Very light (polymer), trigger pull less than 2 lb, feels like shooting BB gun, 32 round mag empty in about  2 sec. The selection is for one, three or 32 rounds on triggerpull.

I'm in line, right behind you!  Would love to have one of those, too!

An excellent suggestion!  That cartridge would give it more range and energy.
I like the 7.62x25mm better than the 5.7x28mm for a PDW.

One thing about all these guns is the many many non interchangable magazines

Would be neat if they could use CZ-75 magazines somehow...  sort of like a Beretta Storm carbine

I have a Class III FFL and, though I couldn't transfer one to a private individual, it would be almost as cool as my Micro-Uzi or Glock 18. I WANT A SKORPIAN A!!!
