Showing off the Hakan Grips!
« on: October 21, 2009, 09:43:29 PM »
Got my Flame Abonia "Shadowed" grips for my 75C today.  Only 8 days from payment to doorstep from Norway.  Not bad.

Oh...and they look AWESOME!!!

Thank you Hakan!

And for those of you who haven't ordered grips from Hakan, you really should.  They are worth it.

Wow! I really like these Hakan's grips. Are they reasonably priced? You don't have to quote a definite amount, just want a general idea.

kincade,

It really depends on how exotic you go.  I chose a relatively exotic wood and then had him customize with the shadowing, so they were more expensive than a "standard" set of wood grips from him.  Not that his "standard" grips aren't equally as pretty or are lacking in workmanship, because if his website is any indication, the man does not make an ugly grip.

Just to give you an idea, with shipping, these grips cost me around 20% of the purchase price of the gun.  Yes that is a little spendy, but in my opinion they are worth every penny.

Beautiful, that was an exceptional piece of wood he carved those grips from. The Shadowing really offsets the grips perfectly, great choice.
CZ 75 SP01 Shadow, strong enough for a man, but she likes it too!

Thank you, they do look worth it. Adds alot appeal... almost like a new gun. I wonder how exotic my wife would go? ::)
