Recoil spring
« on: December 05, 2009, 07:50:23 PM »
Strange looking recoil spring.  It looks like twisted coat hanger.
Works great with my light reloads.  Very easy to insert.  In  400 rounds not one FTF.
Description of Repairs looks strange also.
This is my second P-07. The first I bought from Angus and they did the trigger job.  It worked  fine except mags did not dropped free. I called CZUSA and Scott asked me to send it to them.   CZUSA did  the trigger job (free of charge) and swapped some parts to the new P-07.  In 8 days I had the new one.  Mags were dropping OK but I had some FTF, than I send it back. (no fedex charge).  Two Czechs came by, and after some test firing,  they replaced the springs and did some final adjustments.  Again 8 days return.  The way how CZUSA is handling the warranty repairs is excellent and  above my expectation.

Something  I do not understand.
Angus installed lighter main spring, SA trigger pull was great, 1lb 7oz.  Mike or Czechs replaced it with original factory main spring, because they were getting some FTF on primers.  WHY with heavier main spring I am now pulling SA 1lb 4oz? (average from 10 pulls).
Only explanation I have, that one of the Czechs was P-07 GOD.  ;)

That repair bill is a keeper, looks like they flew it to the Czech Republic! So everything is perfect now? Good to hear!

1Lb 4oz?!?!? WOW!!! You sure like your trigger light. I won't use anything below 3.5 Lbs myself. Just don't like it when the gun goes off when the guy at the other end of the range sneezes. LOL. Everyone to his own tastes I guess. Glad you got your problem fixed.
