Good Holster
« on: January 03, 2010, 04:42:25 PM »
I tried 2 of the plastic holsters. Both were not very good.Bad fit on one and the other I trashed. Really Bad.
I ended up useing a Bianchi # 105 Minimalist. It was really tight so I placed the holster in some warm water to loosen up the leather then
placed my PO-1 in a sandwich bag and put it in the holster. I used the butt end of a knife to form the leather around the gun as it was drying.  Really made for a super fit. Just make sure that it is really dry before use.   Good Luck to All. Rick

Hmm, not sure about using water on leather but I'm glad it worked out for you. I was told by Eric at HBE to wrap the gun (unloaded!) in wax paper and push it into the holster overnight. That works pretty good. Also leather breaks in and loosens a bit with use anyway. Welcome to the forum.

;DI've also had one fitted using a kitchen vacuum sealer. Just soak the holser in warm water, place the gun in plastic bag and put into the holster, then place it in the vacuum sealer and close it up.  Leave it at least overnight. When you take it out, go over it with a hair dryer and make sure it is dry before puting your unwrapped gun in.
