Some CZ frames are cast and some are forged. The slides are, I think, all forged. CZs are about as hardy a gun as can be found -- I wouldn't worry about it.
Nothing wrong with investment cast parts -- if they're done right.
Ruger uses investment casting extensively and makes key parts for most of the major gunmakers. (You don't hear of Rugers breaking often.)
