Well.
Tried on the sling that comes w/ the VZ58 and was a little disappointed at how short and useless it was. The sling mounting locations only allowed you to use it for carrying around your shoulder. Not exactly the best when it comes to tactical scenarios.
Tonight I present the newly designed sling w/ target engagement and primary to secondary transition!
Okay not exactly new but more useful way to use the factory sling! (sorry wood stockers, this only applies to the folding stocks)
With the rifle in front of me and not hanging off a shoulder on my side I can quickly position the rifle for firing w/ both hands. OR sling it out of the way to the side to engage my secondary weapon. Or sling it completely behind you and you are free to run freely (almost).
No modifications required. Just look at the inside of the stock and you should see a opening that'll allow you to slip the sling in there. From there just lock it down and it's solid!
