I was there when Tim accidentally fired his derringer in his back pocket when he stretched. he was using it for a backup all day lock, and that hamme had somehow gotten cocked moving around in the truck. When they parked in the bay, he hopped out and stretched, and that spur trigger said, "OK".
BANG!
Bullet bounced between his legs and up right past his face. Only damage was a burned spot on his cheek the size of a silver dollar, and a story that will never die. I was hollering across the bay, as we grabbed all of our hardware, (in case it was an attack, this WAS an armored trucking bay with vault!), "Timmy, did you shoot yourself in the rear?"
"I don't know!"
"Well, drop trou and find out!"
The camera footage was priceless...
Giggles aside, holsters ARE the best way to carry your sidearm.
