« on: October 14, 2010, 05:14:45 PM »
Hi!
Topic says the most, I`m from Norway. And I want to export there items :

http://www.hkparts.net" target="_blank
Stock Block for HK SL8 Conversions (SL8BLOCK)

G36 FBI (0,1,) Lower HK German New (HKP1901129)

HK G36C Rear Stock Assembly Complete (HKP1901110)

But is there any restrictions on these items?
  ???
Don`t know where to ask,
Did ask hkparts.net and they said that they didnt think so, but that is not good enough, I gotta know :)

You  will need to ask these people: US Immigration and Customs Enforcement and also the authorities in your own country whether (and what) restrictions there may be. If it's possible at all, you will then need someone at either end to complete the required paperwork and ship the items.

I have no idea whether it can be done or what the costs would be. Good luck.

Ps. Have you tried contacting HK direct?

ICE has an office in the US Embassy in Denmark, you could try calling them, they probably cover Norway as well.

Goes through the US state department. May require substantial paperwork. The guy I got a 20 round mag for my vz-58 went through MONTHS of hassle to get that released.

Go to Hkpro.com and pm a guy with the user name CHOPSTICKKID or something like that he does amazing G36 conversions from the SL8. I would love to have one but the price is just too far out of reach.

No, it was to import it. If they are that worried about a 20 rouns mag for a 60 year old rifle coming IN, what will they worry about exporting? This administrction, who knows.

US Export rules on exporting gun parts are just dumb and getting worse.  I know this is of little interest to US residents but for those US workers who make gun parts for sporting firearms, including pistols it is costing them jobs.  Sorry but between the UN and the anti gun crowd on both sides of the 49th the situation getting out of hand.

Take Care
