Sorry for the lack of response. I got a new 10" Contender barrel in 22 hornet and have been shooting cast bullets out of that batboy. All I can say about that barrel is "wow". This is my third hornet gun, but my first in a pistol. Anyways, back to the CZ 455. The only jaming I got was with W/W PowerPoint if I tried to work the bolt real fast. I am assuming this because of the bullet's flat nose design. As far as cleaning my barrel, I clean after each shooting session, but not after each brand of ammo. My gun will be used for hunting squirrels for the most part so I am not that picky on the barrel being clean. Ask my about my 22 Anshutz and that is a different sorry as it is target rifle.

Please tell me? Just got myself a 1813.

In bits at the moment, striped old varnish off and in the middle of oiling stock. All Alli parts will be polished to a mirror finish. Blueing is to be left alone as it is in mint condition.

What cleaning regime do you recommend?
What ammo do you use?
What case do you transport it in?
Any tips you can give me would be appreciated

Since daisy.... was just trying different ammo on a rush basis and using his new 455 for squirrel and NOT for target, he may not have thought about running 10-15 rounds through of each type and then getting a reading at 50 yds.  Also, whether he was using a bench rest or sandbags for example and if a windy or a cold day...etc.  Set-up, breathing, and trigger pull all have to do with accuracy for each individual.  My 4 year old Marlin 39a, w 2lb 8oz trigger,  does better at 60 and 70 meters off sandbags with HV ammo as my original first rifle used for target shooting.

My new LH .22LR, 452 American with factory 2lb 7oz trigger, designed for subsonic target, should surely do better when we get outdoors for real target shooting with the right condtions.  I would take daisy's results under scrutiny at this time.   Some other forums might have complete results from actual target shooters on their 455's?

It is always nice to have people post what their results, but need to have specifics of how they tested....etc. The ocassional shooter will not do as well as the weekly competitor shooter using mechanical benchrest holders or off SB,  which we have to keep in mind.

when I spoke to warrenty dept. at CZ they told me the standard hor

accuracy is one inch at fifty yards

I"m dissapointed with my 455  I"M shooting ELEY TARGET and have

tried about ten or more quality ammo from ELEY, Wolf, SK, cententer X
