NEW FOR 2011...P-08 DUTY

DOES ANYONE ANYWHERE KNOW OR HAVE ANY IDEA OF WHEN THE CZ CO. WILL BE COMMING OUT WITH THE NEW FOR 2011 , CZ P-08 DUTY....??

Still no word, as far as I know, of when the P-08 will make it over here but I would guess 2012...

If you see P-08 in Las Vegas Shot Show then they will come this year. Otherwise in 2012. This will be the management decision. 
 But new P-07 will look exactly like P-08.

So, what's the scoop? Does the P08 look exactly the same as the P07? If so, what exactly is different?

P-08 is full size while the P-07 is compact size.   Longer barrel, longer slide, etc.

Design is exactly the same except P-08 is 20mm longer.
First, they made P-07.
Second, they made 5 changes, added 20mm and P-08 was born.  (There is another, sixth change - new triggers).
Third, they like new P-08 so much,  that they did the same 6 changes to P-07. (except 20mm addition). 
Last September after test shooting in UB I looked at P-08 and asked: 'why you did not design P-07 like this one?' 
They already worked on it.

That's cool. All things being equal, I'd prefer the P07 for a carry gun though. I like the shorter barrel myself.

I did not say better trigger - it will be new.  That doesn't mean better for everybody.  I like trigger pull in SA 2lb but somebody else is happy  with 3lb.  The decision if the new one will be better is up to those who will be able to own both of them and post the results here.
When I tried for the first time P-01 (custom) she has the best trigger.  Then  came P-07 DA/SA with better trigger.  The third one P-07 SA has better pull then P-07 DA/SA.  But I still like to shoot my wife's P-01.  I think every gun manufacturer is developing better and better triggers with less parts, smoother, stronger etc.  CZUB has excellent designer group of young and aggressive people and they are doing the best to create better triggers or guns.  
 Falcn: don't get upset they might create new triggers every year.    
 Dirk: I do not know.  I do not work for CZ.

Hmm.  I don't think I need one really, but it would be a nice addition.
