Emails are not 100%. Spam and Junk mail get in the way. Give CZ-USA a call on the phone and im sure when you talk to someone you will receive much concern and im sure they will try to put a smile on your face. (913) 321-1811 , I always get someone on the line super quick on this number and both times i was able to talk to Mike the head smith. Give it a try.

I've always been successful in getting through to CZ by email, but it can sometimes take several days -- especially if you're not emailing one particular person.  If you don't want to call, be patient.

It was noted that..."I've always been successful in getting through to CZ by email, but it can sometimes take several days -- especially if you're not emailing one particular person. If you don't want to call, be patient. "

I am still waiting :\

I took the gun out today and am very happy with the service that was done.  Mag disconnects are a thing of the past, and it appears that my initial negativity as to hollow points may have been premature as today it was  nearly flawless with Remington HP's....so, except for questionable communication, and apparently treating different customers differently, I am more or less falling back in love with the 97B.

That is great! I sent my gun out taday to get the mag problem fixed. The new mag catch too didnt help so they are going to do a few things at the factory. One thing they are starting to do is harden the catch. Also they are going to deepen the catch. They also told me that they just got a new batch of catches from the main factory that are suppose to help fix the mag drop problem. They also told me that they will do a ramp job so the I can too feed hp's 100%. Cant wait to get it back.

Regarding the scratches -- and whether they'll make it good:

Scratches can generally be fixed with Duplicolor auto body touchup paint in matte black.  (You have to apply it carefully, but its an almost perfect match.)   I've been very successful in the few times I've tried, but had to redo it in some places, when my first effort wasn't as "cosmetic" as I wanted.

Jim Miossi, in the Home Gunsmithing area, has given us a more complete way to refinish larger areas, with a Brownell's-supplied finish that is at least as good as polycoat, and looks the same.
