Revisit of Mag fit problems

I just got my 97 back from my Smith.  He welded on the mag clip to make the mag stand up in the grip where it should be.  Now no more FTFs.  Even the Pro Mag's feed great.  The whole problem was that the mags did not sit high enough.  Now there is no space under the grip and all is well.  The job was done very reasonably I thought.  Less than 40 bucks.  If you are having feed problems and you have already had the ramp angle changed this is the next step.

Several shooters here have diagnosed the problem and made changes -- exactly as your 'smith did.  Glad it worked for you, too.  (You'd think that CZ would make a change to the mag release...)
