Hex head grip screws

There was a picture of a hard chromed (i think) model 97 that had hex head grips screws.  Who has these for CZ's?

You can uses grip screws for the Ruger Mk II.  They are somewhat high profile and will likely stand proud of the grip surface.   I use these in combination with Hogue rubber finger grooves (scretched on CZ 75 grips).

It sounds stupid but I think the Philips screws are more practical although they dont look as good.  I guess an example would be that if you were at the range or something, and you needed to remove the grips, if someone only had a standard screwdriver, a Philips screw could be removed with a standard or Philips screwdriver while standard screws can only be removed with a standard screwdriver.  Not a likely situation but an advantage none the less.

(Hex screws would be the same as standard screws in that only a hex wrench can remove them, as with only 1 size of hex wrench.  It would also be less likely for someone else to have a set of hex wrenches) I guess the moral of this post is BRING ALL NECESSARY TOOLS FOR YOUR FIREARMS!!!

I hear trhis same thought on the 1911 forums.  The thought being John Moses Browning designed the gun to be taken apart without using any tools.  Putting hex head grip screws and a hex head mag catch lock means you have to have a tool to take the gun apart.  Well, no problem, the 1911 toolkit has both allen bits.  When I go to the range or competition the tool kit is always there. So, yes, it does add a specific tool you need to carry, but that little tool doesn't take up much room in otherwise crowded rangebags.  And, this being purely subjective, they look a whole lot better.
