I'm not sure why some here say the fpb makes the reset longer. That's not what i've observed in my guns. I have a p-01 w/ comp hammer, 85c trigger, action work from cz custom with a functioning fpb and a sp-01 custom shadow with comp hammer, 85c trigger, no fpb. There is no difference in the reset. They both reset around .060". In fact, the action and trigger pull of both guns is nearly identical except for the DA is a little smoother and about a half ounce less on the sp-01, due to no fpb. SA on the p-01 is ever so slightly smoother and 0.1 oz lighter, most likely due to only one hammer hook engaging the sear. It's a testament to the quality of work cz custom does that the action on both guns is nearly identical.
My next cz will most likely be a 97b.
