My Century will be in the truck with all my other tools, it was so cheap I don't worry about it getting knocked around or scratched up.

It also allows for preservation of Dad's VZ58, we can beat on mine and leave his in the safe for the kiddos when they grow up.

Hey I'm new in this forum and I also just got the vz 2008 from Midwest hunters yesterday. To be honest I was kind of worried because Midwest hunters website has a very bad reputation and century also but for $395 total for this rifle I gave it a shot. They shipped out my rifle 4 days after I ordered it and my ffl received it 4 days after that on Thursday. I must of got one of te last ones because they were on backorder one day after I ordered mine.

Enough about that. The rifle was better than expected and it came w 2 mags and a pouch like stated by the op. It looks great and it is tight. Shot 100 rounds today and no problems whatsoever. Accuracy is better than expected and sights are straight.

Overall 100% satisfied with century  and Midwest hunters.

Nice prices... Here in Canada VZ 58 is $600, CZ 858 is $700 and the CSA rifles are $1000 ..
