High I recently bought a Pre-B surplus gun that looks like a B except it's missing the firing pin block, and it still has the Pre-B safety, and slide lock.(it's a 93 model) I order a 16lb recoil spring for it from Wolff, and it seems a little long for the gun. I ordered a Pre-B spring BTW. I can rack the slide no problem, but it feels stiffer than 16lb IMO. My 10mm Glock 20 with a 22lb Wolff recoil spring has a similar pull on the slide.
Anyway I'm just wondering as I noticed that Wolff sells both Pre-B, and B springs so how much of a difference in spring rate would there be running a Pre-B spring in a gun that's mostly built like a b?
Thanks,
Jesse
