75B Work mat?
« on: August 19, 2011, 12:47:08 PM »
Hey everyone, I'm just curious if anyone knows or has ever seen a work bench mat for the 75B where the gun is all broken down in a diagram? I've seen ones for Glocks and Sigs, but haven't come across one for the CZ's. I just thought it would be a cool thing to have when working on the gun and for reference.

That would be great.

Here's an image I downloaded that could work for just that purpose, i.e. being put on a bench mat. I've got it as my computer's desktop. Just having it in front of me through out the day has helped me to better understand how most of the parts fit together. I think the exploded detailed part view in the manual would be better though.

I like the image that you posted, but I agree that a nice exploded view like in the manual would probably be better for a work mat

I actually just stumbled across a site called gunmat.com that makes them for several other popular pistols, but no CZ's. I sent them a message to see if they could make one up for ours, so now will wait to hear back. I'm thinking they might want some sort of minimum order to make one up, so might be something we could get a bunch of folks from the forums here interested in.

Very cool. I think the problem may be the "art work", i.e. access and copyright on the exploded view. Then the question will be "for which CZ".  However in this day of computer driven reprographics I've got to assume if given the image in the proper format they can easily print it on the mat material.

Let's wait and see how they respond to your inquiry.

Czkali, I actually did get a reply already, and the guy said they don't have one yet but are always looking for interest in new designs and feedback from people like us. I started a new thread over in the general forum with all the details and to try to get it out to more than just us 75B owners, but my thought is that enough of us contact them and show interest that we could speed up the process.

Another option is some photo print shops (my wife had one made at RiteAid) can put any image on a computer mousepad.

It would be a small work mat, but might do in a pinch...
I had the right to remain silent...

but not the ability.
