Hello from a Brit in Germany
« on: October 12, 2006, 10:46:56 AM »
Just joined the forum so I thought i'd introduce myself.
British Soldier serving in Germany, and at last my Gun Permit is in the post(after 16 months).
As soon as it arrives i'm off down the shops for a SP-01, a bit more expensive in Europe though as in Germany only 1 company(Frankona) has the rights and they're 699 euros.

Welcome, I am a new member as well, I have family (cousins) in the UK. How does your permit work, will you be able bring your CZ back to the UK? What made you decide on CZ?

If you go back to UK send your gun to me, please. I will look after it. Pity you can never legally take it home with you. British politicians are ass***es. Dunblane was a one-off that the police should accept responsibility for but British police never do. Still no reason to take away the rights of decent week-end shooters.

Welcome to the CZForum, gentlemen.  A lot of knowledge and opinions located here, just a matter of digging through the tongue-in-cheek that surrounds the subject.

It's kind of refreshing to know that politicians have something in common regardless of national origin.

Excellent choice in a handgun there GDR1, excellent choice.  There are a number of members here that would offer to give you SP-O1 a temporary asylum (as it were).  I'd like to know more about your import/military bring-back policies too, just out of curiosity, you understand.

Shoot safely and enjoy.
