What ammo are you guys using on your Kadet? I have FTE issues, it will chamber a round without the spent shell ejecting totally out of the chamber (stove pipe the spent shell with a new round in the chamber) the Kadet 2 was mounted on my Compact 40.

The base pads of the Kadet mags can be replaced with these from CZ-USA.

Here is a picture of the two mags, one with the original base and the other with the 10 round base.



A compact with the original mag.



Same pistol with 10 round base pad on the Kadet mag.
