*$#%@!! Magazine Springs!

Man, I hope I can type this post, my fingers are so friggin' sore.  I bought some Winchester Silver Tip HPs today, since I'm looking for a good carry ammo.  I can't even get the 10th round in either mags, and I've been storing both of them with 10 rounds in them for weeks.  I took them apart and cleaned them, but it didn't seem to help.  I wonder if the spring couldn't be shortened a little bit.  Like a previous poster said, my mags have more coils than in the diagrams.  I wonder if it would hurt anything to take out one coil.  I'm reluctant to do anything like that.  Does the loading tool (that I never got) help any?  I haven't seen one, but maybe Monday I'll call CZ USA and ask them to send me one.

Feedback would be appreciated.  Maybe if I worked for a living instead of sitting at a computer all day, I would have hard enough calluses to keep me from whining about it, I dunno.

Man, can I relate.  Many many days I come home from a "super range session" and I have cuts on my thumb.
But I just put up with it.  The CZ "big and plastic" loader
is a great tool and should help.  If you dont want to wait
any gun shop should have a loader for a "general 9mm-40"
They arent as nice or easy as the CZ unit, but help non the less.  I dont understand why CZ uses the 1 ton springs in
there mags...my other semi's feed just as well with MUCH softer springs.

I DO NOT recommend cutting coils off of your mag springs.
It doesnt matter if the pictures matter or not, no one expects
the food to match the pictures at your fav eatery...same goes with the springs.  They just put coils on it to show you
"hey, look at the coils"....

My mags took a while to "ease up" on the springs..and really
are a little easier....get your "shooters little helper" and see
if that helps...Just my opinion..and shoot well
