Had to take another trip to SC this weekend, so my Dad, brother and I went to the range. This time just my .40 CZ 100 and his .40 Smith & Wesson Sigma. We bought 3 boxes of some generic Winchester that came in a styrofoam box (not reloads, but I don't know what they are). Of course the 100 went through them like it does everything else. The Sigma is a nice weapon, although noticeably not as accurate as the CZ 100. It shot fine except for one round, barely dented the bottom of the round... no worries, my 100 didn't mind the leftovers, shot that round fine.
My Dad gave me a box of Winchester SXT 40 hollow points that had given him problems- on a previous outing he said he had tried to shoot 6 rounds and had 6 failures to eject. I ran the remaining 14 rounds through my CZ 100 with no problems. These were the first HPs I have tried with my CZ, and I was impressed.
I gain confidence in my CZ 100 every time I take it out. It is one fine pistol at any price, and I am getting more and more accurate with it. I am also getting more used to the DAO trigger, especially when shooting quickly.
