hakan?
« on: March 21, 2012, 03:58:23 PM »
Building everyone,

New. to. The site adjust just purchasing a cz 75 Sao.  I would love to get a set of hakans grips and have emailed him.

Anyone have a status of whether hakan is still making grips.  I see there hasn't been a post here in the forum for nearly 4 months.

If he isn't still making grips ill look elsewhere, but hakans grips look REALLY nice!

As far as I know he is still making grips. Give him a few days to respond, then politely follow up with him. He's worth the wait.

Great news!

What's a ballpark cost for a pair grips?

It varies for the cost of wood, but the set of Birdseye half/half that I ordered was $125 shipped. I am sure if you ordered something in a little cheaper wood like cherry or turkish walnut, it would decrease costs. I do not know how much. I was originally going to do the grips in Flame birch with a half and half stipple with the stipple blacked out for $120 shipped.

These are the grips that I ordered except for a CZ 75 compact.

Nimdabew,

Thanks for the continued information.  My preferred wood species probably aren't cheaper varieties, but oh well.  I'm not going to have any stippling and hope the grips profile can closely match the stock grips.

I'm still waiting to hear from hakan, but hopefully will here sometime soon.

Well I've been in contact with hakan and got my order placed.  Now the hard part, the wait!
