Saw a 75B with Soviet Markings...
« on: March 28, 2012, 02:12:23 AM »
My LGS has a pretty nice looking 75B (I think) marked at the front of the barrel slide with a red star.  In addition, the nomenclature on the side is all in cyrillic and there is also a hammer and sickle stamped on the right.  The hammer is also an old style hammer.

I am guessing from the manufacturing stamp that it was made in 2010, although the stamp is not in its normal location.  Additionally, the barrel is marked "CCCP".

The LGS told me that he thought it was a reproduction of CZ's made for the Russians, but I did a search here and came up empty.

It has CZ markings.  I just don't know anything about it, and would appreciate any info.

The pistol looks pretty nice and am considering it.  Just don't want to be stuck with a total orphan!

Thanks to all who reply!

Daisy lever BB gun.

Not listing my guns here anymore.

Let the government figure it out!

Lots of rocks and stones, and pretty good with a slingshot!

It is CZ-75B Cold War Commemorative - special edition of CZ. I think you can find many posts here about it.

CZ-75 was intend for export to capitalist countries - that is why it was in 9 mm Luger. I can't imagine Russians import and use them. As well I can't imagine cyrilic on them during cold war.

Pistol would have been on my short list if chambered in a proper cold war caliber.
9x18
or
7.62x25
I would have bet the mag capacity would have grown some and I think the Tok round would have been real fun if it would feed in the gun.

This just seems like marketing BS , although I fall for it every time it is a great looking gun :P

Is that red star on the front of the slide actually stamped into it/then painted or is it merely an appliqu??

Fascinating limited  edition. I would of really wanted one if it was missing the red star and have had a round trigger guard.
