CZ 241 Semi Auto Shotgun Owners
« on: April 25, 2012, 08:56:10 PM »
I thought I'd better post this as a new topic rather than a where I placed it last evening.

I'm back....Bob here from RBC Gunsmithing and avid CZ 241 collector.
So I guess I am still the only CZ 241 "historian" out here.  I posted the information on these guns several years ago after corresponding with Milan at the CZ plant.  He was kind enough to provide that info to me, we still correspond infrequently.  In-fact, I purchased one of my 241 12ga. guns from him and imported it to the U.S. (a four year process).  So after several more years of collecting the 241s, I have come into some interesting information and wanted to throw-out some 'feelers'.  I now have the original  owners pamphlet (two color) that came with the 241s.  I have it in English and Czech (both are originals), I also have the original owners manual which is nicely printed with illustrations and loads of information, however it is only printed in Czech.  Within this manual is a fold-out engineering drawing with muliple section views of the 241 and an exploded parts picture with all parts numbered. Both of these items are super rare, and I really didn't know they even existed until recently.
So this leads me to a question for the rest of you 241 collectors.  Do any of you have any interest in having a copy of the pamphlet or owners manual or both?  I am looking at having them professionally reprinted (same size, same weight paper, same colors) and offering them for sale(of course they would be descreetly marked 'reproduction' to protect the value of any originals that may be out there).  Needless to say it will not be inexpensive to do this, so before I pay a lot of money I'd like to have an idea of how much interest there is out there.  You can contact me through the forum or via email at rbcgunsmithing@hotmail.com let me know your thoughts.  I am also working on the design of a device that will allow you to shoot 2 3/4" ammo in these guns without having to lengthen the chamber or modify the ejector & port.

I had a few of these owners manuals and pamphlets made up and have them for sale out on Gunbroker.com  If you have any interest go and check them out.  I tried to have these made as closely to the originals as possible.  This material is extremely rare so if you have a CZ 241 and would like to have pretty much the only material ever printed about them, you might consider picking up a copy.
