what a great forum
« on: September 23, 2002, 06:27:16 PM »
Doesn't seem that long ago that I posted about my difficulties getting used to my CZ compact and was given a host of great suggestions from the members of this board.  I'm happy to report that I'm now at the point that the CZ feels as comfortable to me as my faithful 1911 and my shooting continues to improve.  For those people having ajustment problems with their new CZ I would suggest the following:

Dry fire the weapon (with a snap cap of course) this allows you to actually see problems in your form and smooths out the guns action at the same time.
Spend plenty of time shooting; there really is no substitute for range time.
Start out shooting at closer ranges say 7 yards and then when that seems boring move back.
If you still have trouble post here and there are plenty of great people who will offer helpful suggestions.
Be very careful because the odds are you will spend more money on your current CZ or another CZ (Im waiting for a PCR I have ordered and Hakan just let me know that my grips are finished :rollin )
