I always wanted a Galil, BTW, but all the Golani clones I ran into left me cold. I picked up one IMI Galil years ago, and thought it was very cool...and very out of my price range, at the time. :)

I got lucky on that one, I passed up a galil back in 1994 and ended up looking for one ever since!  Happy that I found one and a owner that was willing to part ways with his!

Very good job on this video.  You are well spoken.  I thought I knew those guns, but I went away feeling like I learned something.  In the people's republic of Canada, we are not allowed to own AK variants as they are prohib and I can't tell you how much I want an IMI Galil.  But, we can own VZ's (figure that one out!).  I have two VZ's in 7.62 and one in 5.56.  I hope to add the Krink style carbine in the VZ soon that is available up here.

Once again, thanks for the video.

Some of the US states are like that too, where AK and AR rifles are banned, but the vz-58, which is neither, is perfectly legal. :) What's funny is when they add, "functionally similar" or "copies or clones" in their assault rifle bans...the vz-58 still slips through.
I look forward to a day when all these stupid laws go bye bye, and we can all go to our local gun shop to get an unmolested SA vz-58.

Thanks for the kind words!!  VZ's are great and I am really considering getting on in 5.56, how do you like yours?

-in a jewish tone of speaking (btw I am jewish- I envy you guys with the magazines and the folding stocks and the mag catches.

No joke, I live in PRK and will have to have my VZ58 loaded via stripper clips so I can have all the nice goodies on it.
