Magazines Again! Puzzled.

Went to a local gun shop today after they told me on the phone that they had a 15 round pre-ban magazine for the CZ 75 Compact.  When I looked at it, it did come out of a baggie with an official looking label, but would not fit my Compact.  I could push it about halfway up, but then it would bind and stick.

     Any ideas about what was happening?  Does the Compact not take the standard pre-ban?  Does the Compact not take any full-size 75 magazines?  What next? I would be happiest with a standard 13 round mag, but I'll go with anything that works including a 10 round.

Suggestions?

Well, first off 15rnd mags for the Compact dont exist.  Fullsize mags for the 75-85 will work perfectly, but will be 10mm longer than your grip.  Compact mags have the same locking hole and everything else just like the full size but are shorter.
The Hi Caps will hold 15 rnds if your replace the spring with a Wolff +10% spring....I did this to 2 of my old mags.  If the mag you found wont go in past 1/2 way...its not for a cz.
