I wanted head shots...

...but I was just function testing after replacing the firing pin, ad left the scope at home.



When I try again with the scope, Jack is mine... 8)

223 at that velocity at 50 yards....  Rabbit slush scattered all over the back yard...

Of course... If I wasn't so concerned about being a polite neighbor... I would have happily hunted up the rabbits and ground hogs that ate my entire garden this year....

 :-\ Yeah, that's why I need to try again with the scope mounted - I want head shots. What's funny is how jackrabbits will just SIT there and let you shoot at them when they are SURE you can't see them. I had one park it under a tree less than 20 feet from me once...and he was sure I couldn't see him. He was dead wrong. :)
