Help identifying recoil spring
« on: September 11, 2012, 10:12:51 PM »
Just got a new (to me) CZ 100 9mm.  Took off the slide and found that the recoil spring appears to be a flat wire spring and blue in color.  Is this the stock spring?  If not, can anyone help identify what it is?

Based on this -- http://shop.cz-usa.com/P-0500030006/Recoil-Spring-Cz-100p07-Duty.aspx -- I would say your blue spring is the factory spring.

As mentioned above it is the stock recoil spring. If you want to replace it you can use a Glock G19 recoil spring. Aftermarket G19 uncaptured guide rods can also be used to replace the plastic one supplied with the 100.

Enjoy.
