This is exciting. Hopefully it actually leads to more freedom and a reduction in crime.

I'm sure your buddy Rahm (ya know, the former White House guy?), has been strategically placed in Illinois to maintain some insanity of gun regulation for y'all. They have 180 days to figure out how to screw you in some fashion!

But it good to hear that there are some judges still out there willing to say it like it is and stop trying to rearrange the words of our Founding Fathers.

Good luck.

I did read an article that shows a decrease in crime w/ the increase of gun ownership in DC.

Amen...after the elections many fellow illinoisans I spoke to were seriously questioning their continued residency here if things were not going to change on this as well as other Illinois issues.  At least it is going in the right direction!!!

Wife and I are both ready to jump thru whatever hoops we have to in order to be able to legally carry.

This is the opportunity of greatest success or greatest defeat - it will be appealed to SCOTUS, and if granted cert, (I'd be shocked if it wasn't), will Dear Leader have a chance to place an anti on the court so they can overturn Heller and MacDonald at the same time...or will it be the solid win that enshrines the Right To Carry forever?

I'm hearing this may not be appealed to SCOTUS because the IL AG can't afford to lose a big one which would damage her chances to become a higher form of pond scum...I mean politician.
