Ohhh noez! Police with guns in schools!

Spent Christmas with my family, of which my step-brother is a PO-PO! The little town he lives in, 60-some-odd thousand souls, has a fairly large school district.

The week after the Sandy Hook shootings, the placed armed officers at ALL schools in the district. Shockingly, no one got shot by accident, no kids freaked out, and everything went fine.

Duh! :P

We have armed police in our schools all the time. We even allow teachers with guns in schools. That's how we roll in Texas.  8)

And I am pretty sure that Obama's kids attend a school with armed guards. If he can handle it, then I can handle it too.

On the first anniversary of Columbine President Bill Clinton proposed putting an armed guard in every school. He wasn't ridiculed. I guess if a proposal is sane or ridicules depends on your politics.

Today, 35,2760 CPL holders took to the streets of Michigan with loaded guns; many of them semi-automatics with "hi-capacity" magazines ("clips" for AP members).

Nothing happened.
