Base for Kadet Magazine in 75D Compact

Purchased an additional magazine for my Kadet adapter, did not pay attention to the picture, this one has a much taller base then my original ones (the ones wich came with the kit), so it sticks more than 1/2 inch out, looks like crap. I assume it must be for the full size 75 not he compact. I am POed because nowhere is mention that you need a magazine with different bases depending on the gun. Nothing mentioned in the online shop ads, nor at the CZ website. Worse, searching he CZ shop webpage nothing comes up. Tried to call them several times, "all representatives are busy, leave a mesage, we will call you back", yea right, still waiting.
Any ideas where I could find the short base? Thanks for any hint. AP

AP, you apparently bought a used Kadet kit that had the bases changed. There are several threads regarding the kit on Compact pistols. New kits all have the longer magazine bases. If you read the text regarding the kits on CZ-USA site it plainly states that the magazines protrude when used in Compact models.

Many users purchase the base pads for 10 round Compact mags to replace the original base pads. Last time I checked they were back ordered however.

Hi Joe:
Thanks a lot for clarifying! Admiting it's my fault, lack of attention. And your right I purchased the kit used, actually I had to do some adjustment to the magazines because the follower was not holding the slide back at empty. The solution was to paste couple of strips of electrical tape on the right side of the magazine which positioned/pushed the follower rib right under the stop.  Works perfect  now. I will keep looking for the 10 rd. magazine base, meanwhile will just use it as is.
