CZ 75 SP-01 Shadow Custom Target.
Love the gun. The guide rod on my gun is showing knicks and burs on the front side of the head portion of the guide rod. I note this is also the case on a friends gun. What is causing this? Is this normal? A heavier spring prevents the slide from locking on last round. Should I order a replacement guide rod. They are not cheap.
Thanks.

Depends on the quality of the inside of the frame, weight of recoil spring based on power of ammo.
I any of mine show nicks i just re blend them. But since I shoot light ammo 128 PF this is not a normal occurrence.
