You can get another 1000 out of it! They're just 22's anyways  :P

WOW Joe, the Camera of yours takes great pics

Macro lens and flash system are pretty sophisticated, camera body, not so much.  I have a few more years experience with the photography stuff than I do with the firearms.

Joe, what camera/lens did you use?

Olympus 50 Macro, Olympus Macro Flash, two heads, Olympus E-3 body.

Following is an iPhone photo for comparison.  Holes made with pistol above at 10 yards.  I'm right handed.

Same target taken with a "good" camera...

Nice...  (Camera and grouping). Offhand 10 shots in 7 seconds at 10 yards in 1.5", I need more range time.

Maybe next week.  Two more range trips.  Add oil.

Saturday, I'll get to do some of my favorite Kadet drills--paper plates at 50 yards.  Will report if I hit anything. Might have to clean the pistol on Sunday evening if I get in 600 rounds this weekend.

Got in 360 this morning, 160 of that at 50 yards, 10" plates 91% hits.  I'm happy.  Also did some transition drills at 18 yards with five 7" plates, 20 yard and 30 yard groups before going long.  The 91% hit ratio on 10" plates is good.  I've done 95% on 11" plates, but not on 10".  If i were a real shooter I'd be shooting at 7" plates at 50 yards, LOL.

Gun ran perfectly on CCI 22LR Tactical bulk, 36 gr hollow points.  Seem to be as accurate as the 40 gr CPRN I usually shoot but am saving.

I plan another 200 rounds in the morning before I take any more photos of the sear cage.  Schmeky is gonna puke.  But his hammer and sear are absolutely perfect, untouched by me, other than adding some crud.

Gettin' closer.  Didn't shoot the CZ this morning, shot the 308 at 547 yds instead.  So this is at 2030 rounds since last cleaning of the sear cage.  Gettin' real dirty now.  Still functioning perfectly, however.

Another 400 perfect rounds this morning.  About 2500 total since last cleaning the sear cage/frame components.  Now it is getting dirty...

I cleaned the barrel ramp and the firing pin and breech area just 400 rounds ago, so they aren't very bad yet.  When the firing pin hole fills up, its time.  Maybe one or two more range trips, then clean everything.
