Single Action trigger for CZ SP01 Shadow
« on: February 15, 2013, 03:56:43 AM »
Hi Angus.

I have a friend who has installed this trigger in his CZ SP01 Shadow.  http://czcustom.com/testproduct-132.aspx.

They are not available at this time, and i wonder if this one will fit aswell? http://czcustom.com/cz75satriggerfactorycustom.aspx

If so, is there any difference between the two. Other than the looks of it? I kind a like the curved one better.

I am not Angus, but they both fit. I have the Factory custom SAO trigger installed on my SP01 Shadow. I like the looks of it better too. Also, I did initially have a flat trigger, but did not quite like the feel of flat contour of the surface. I was a bit wider than my liking. But that is me (medium hands), and someone with different hands and fingers might find otherwise.

do order a trigger pin along with the trigger. You will most likely need to replace it!! And a trigger return spring is not a bad investment either.

Will do. I knew about the trigger pin, not the spring. Thanks again.

This may be a silly question. But will this one fit as well. http://www.shop-cz.com/trigger-sa-hard-aluminium-cz-75-ts-black/d-70742/
I?m told it doesn?t fit. But didn?t get a reason.

The trigger from CZ UB, I haven't seen it. But since I do have a TS, and that is for a TS, I would assume that it does not have the opening on the top to allow the trigger spring to rest on the frame. That notch would have to be made by cutting filing. I would prefer the CZ custom route, with the trs, trigger and the pin combo. A couple of pins and springs,in fact. That's what I did! Flat trigger, if set right, looks excellent I have to admit.

It fits! Have it installed on my Shadow with TS upper.
