I am having a difficult time removing the folding stock from my century vz2008 as the screw seems to have been lock tited at the century factory.
I have tried many different things including wd40, clp etc on the screw but it would not budge.
Anyone tried this before with success?
I thought I am a pretty strong guy ut it seems torquing the screw off the receiver is a superhuman task
Please help with tips and/or suggestions.
I have the biggest baddest flathead screwdriver available at sears and I am still struggling

This has been discussed somewhere online before, but I could only find one link. It is for a regular stock, but the idea is the same:

http://www.czfirearms.us/index.php?topic=26226.0

I took an old angled tire iron and ground the tip down carefully with a file, so it was really square and tight in the screw?s slot. It gives me lots of torque and leverage to tighten stock screws and folder screws without stripping them (because that would be REALLY bad). Some guys have done the same and welded a crossbar to it like a ?star? lug wrench, for increased leverage. One good tip they put in the thread above is to have someone hold down the rifle while you crank on it. And I wouldn?t resort to clamping it in a vise because you might bend the receiver. But you could stand it on the muzzle end if you have a thread protector/flash hider other than a slant brake, such as the original Czech one. I put a heavy towel under the muzzle brake and press down hard before torquing with the tire iron. You might try laying it down and then hitting the end of your big screwdriver with a 2 pound hammer to see if the impact will help loosen the screw, since you can?t heat it up to do the same thing. But do that ?tap of persuasion? before you stand it on the muzzle brake, so there is no chance of changing the head spacing or anything else. Good luck!

This thing is a B1tch !!! I do not know how the  monkeys at century put the stock on but the darn thing will not budge. I tried all that you guys advised me to do. I even sprayed some rem oil and let it seep in between the threads then warmed it with a light flame for the locktite to come loose.
However, it seems I might be destined to have a folder.
I will get a friend and try again but am pretty close to peening off the groove on top of the screw.
I will give it a couple more trys but if it still does not budge, I might just leave it as is.
