If you are posting a link to a news story, blog post or anything else, kindly include a brief summary of what it is about and some commentary from yourself. That way readers can decide if they wish to read further. We can all read news on our own, we don't need members acting as a CNN ticker for us. If nothing else, its lazy.

[Thumbs Up Icon] Thank you Widge. Seeing a thread with an interesting title and opening it only to find a link is a bit irritating IMO. If someone thought enough of the linked material that it would be of interest to other members, they should at least have some thoughts of their own about it to include along with a brief summary or quote from the link.

The other side is also true. If you see News that you'd like to share with the community, don't simply give us your slanted abstract. Along with your write up... post a link. A news piece without a source is rumor/ hearsay.
