American Reloading has some pulled plated 40 and 45 bullets on 50% off sale.  Use code 50OFFFOR48 to get the discount.  It expires 1/27/16 and won't their stock won't last that long.  The price per bullet is $0.05 for 40S&W and $0.065 for 45 ACP.

https://www.americanreloading.com/en/199-48-hour-sale-section

I haven't tried them nor will I on this offer as I just recieved ~5000 bullets for the 97BD and don't need anything for my 40.

Cheers,
Toby

Thanks Toby,
I'll bite at $63.50/1K of 45 shipped to my door. Price gets less as you buy more lots. My 2 lots were $3 off. And FREE shipping
Plated pulls are questionable, but 45 speeds @ paper should work. For the price, not worth running the lead pot or warming up the lube sizer.
$0.021 S&B Primers
$0.064 Projectile
$0.015 of HP-38 @ 5.3gr I got for $20/lb
=$0.10 per round of 45 ACP  ;D ;D
Sorry, had to remove the list of firearms due to server overload. I hope you now have a more pleasant experience on this forum.

Vw, glad you took advantage of it.  The price was right!

I did order some primed pull down 45 brass a while ago and it was excellent (all federal).

I'm interested in knowing how they look.  They also have sales on pulled jhp varieties on occasion too that I get tempted on every time.

Cheers,
Toby

Was also looking at the mixed 308 but when I went to ad to cart it said quantity selected does not match stock, sold out as I was looking... pics of the 45 look ok. Seemed like they post pics of the bad stuff and do not try to hide defects. Will post back on what I get.

Apparently they have more inventory of pulled plated bullets than I thought.  They have more options and they all are 50% off:

Said I would post when the plated pulls came in. Arrived today, took the slow road...
Was picking through my first box and 99% are the same type with concave base. Found 1 fmj. Some others that did not take well to pulling and those seem alike with thin plating, heavy pull marks and dented more than the rest. Makes those easier to cull.

Bad news is that all pretty much all measure 448 diameter. Didn't get the scale out yet...

Plinkers for sure. No target accuracy coming from these.

Pics of what I received.

Some show slips of the puller but do not catch a fingernail.

I just saw that.  Went online to place a primer order planning on buying Winchester at PVI, but checked around and saw that, couldn't resist, and ordered 20,000, free shipping, $420 total once the hazmat fee was in.  We'll see what happens.  I have about 1200 left right now, with 2 competitions this coming weekend, so I'm going to have to find some locally, as well.

In other news, I saw Clays on a shelf locally yesterday.  I resisted the temptation.  I don't need yet another powder waiting on deck.
