I'm really late to this thread I know, I'm looking to buy a couple extra mags for my K2P 9mm and wanted to know if the magazine you're referring to is the 17-rd. 9mm Hi-Cap CZ 75B Mec-Gar Handgun Magazine?

For carry, I use the Mec-Gar Cz75B 17 round AFC Magazine.  For Home use, the Mec-Gar Cz75B 19 round AFC gets loaded.

For deals on MecGar mags see Greg Cote: http://gregcotellc.com/cart/index.php

Sorry, don't know of any good paddle Magazine Carriers, as I use a no name IWB Magazine Carrier I found at a Gun Show.

Thank you jwc007, very helpful. I noticed that he notes on the website that customers have reported it being a little difficult to get the 17rd magazines to lock into the K2P 9mm, did you experience any problems with this?

No, not at all.  ???  But I do think that the Frames on these Pistols might vary a little.
That said, I've not had any issues with Cz75B Magazines in my B6P, either.

Just wanted to update everyone. I did purchase 2 of the cz75 b 17rd magazines for the K2P 9mm. It is difficult to get them to lock into place for my gun. You need to slam them in with a decent amount of force to get them secured. That being said I fired 100 rounds with them today and the magazines feed with no issues. Overall I'm happy with the purchase. Thanks again for the help.

Take the base plate off the mags and give the top of them a light sanding. That should help them fit better. Alternatively you can buy the metal mag base plates for the CZ75B mags.

Folks, it will take 17 or 19 round CZ mags, both available through Greg Cote. I use Blade Tech mag pouches for CZ. In fact, many double stack 9mm pouches will work with some tuning.

One good thing about working at a huge silencer manufacturer, is being able to make custom parts. I got a guy here to thread the od of my barrel to .500x28, put a custom extension/adapter on the end, out with a .500x28 thread. Shot it through a variety of cans, worked flawlessly. Once i figure out how to post pics, i will.

I was worried that I might not like the gun, so I worked out a deal with my LGS.
I am ordering from CDNN ($279+shipping). If I like it, I pay the $20 to transfer it/file the 4473 and run the NICS.
If I don't like it, the owner puts the pistol in his display case and, when it sells, I get my money back and don't take a loss.

From the tone of most of the reviews, the owner of the LGS will have to order his own.  From the price, he should move a fair number of them as long as nobody picks up Firearms News (formerly Shotgun News).

Right now, my wife and I have matching Walther PPX's (long, but rather funny story) as nightstand guns.  If my wife and I REALLY like this gun, I'll have to buy a second.  Does anybody know if EAA makes threaded barrels?  I understand that this is a compact slide on a full size grip.  How long is the full size barrel?  (is it long enough and would the profile allow me to thread the last 1/2 inch of the barrel and mount a silencer on it?)

Hi folks;
I'm new here and this is my first post. My question concerns the actual capacity of the SAR K2Ps stock magazine: 15 (as marked on the mag), 16 (as noted on EAAs website), or 17 (as printed on label of pistol case and extra mag's wrapper). I ask this because I just bought this pistol - which I absolutely love, and one extra 'stock' magazine (not the CZ75B). Both mags fully loaded I've found only hold up to 16 rounds! I suppose forcing one more round to get to the magic number of 17, would be possible? But the owner's manual warns against doing so. So which is it: 17, 16, 15?
I?m posting here as a ?reply? because of all the talk relating specifically to choosing the right magazine for the K2P.
Thanks,
SS.

Welcome to the Forum!  :)

The stock Magazine that I have only holds 15 rounds comfortably.  By comfortably I mean being able to seat the Magazine into the Pistol with the Slide forward/closed.
I rarely ever use the Stock Magazine anymore except for Range/Practice.  When I've carried my SAR K2P, I've used the Mec-Gar Cz75B 17 round AFC Magazines.

Thanks double "0"; that's what I suspected. That 16th round I referred to had to be squeezed in, and got me thinking this can't be right. Wonder why all the erroneous information on the K2Ps magazine capacity? Why I squeezed in 16 was EAA said so, and figured they would know if anyone. Guess not.

I'm placing an order for both the 17rd and 19rd mags, using the Greg Cote link you provided. Like you I'll dedicate the stock 15s to range use. Enjoyed your post and learned alot and have the "EAA SAR K2 45ACP", on order from CDNN Sports.

Also note that the Fobus BRS will fit the SAR K2P, SAR B6P, and the SAR K2-45, very nicely.

However, also note that the muzzle ends of the SAR B6P and SAR K2-45 will protrude/stick out of the bottom of the Fobus BRS a bit over an inch.

I just bought a used K2P for $200 used.   I found this thread and really appreciate all of the info about holsters, magazines, etc.

Haven't shot the pistol yet, but I am really looking forward to it.

Hi guys, I have had the K2P for nearly two years.  Can't say enough good things about it.  As far as magazines go, I also own an EAA Witness PS in 40 S&W.  The Witness magazine fits the K2P well, feeds the 9mm bullets without issues, and locks back when empty.
