Colorado Sheriffs file Federal Suit
« on: May 20, 2013, 11:24:07 PM »
Today one more Colorado Sheriff added his name to the list of 54 Colorado Sheriffs suing in Federal Court making the total 55 Sheriffs out of 64 Colorado County Sheriffs.

The sheriffs say the new state laws violate Second Amendment protections that guarantee the right to keep and bear arms.

The filing targets Colorado laws that limit the size of ammunition magazines and expanded background checks. The new Laws were passed by the Democratically controlled Legislature and approved by the Democratic Governor this spring and are set to take effect July 1.

The Democrats controlling the Legislative and Executive branches of Colorado government were among the first to pass gun control legislation.  Let's hope the Federal Courts quickly unwind this tripe.
